# Libya Streets (شوارع ليبيا)

> A free, community-run live map of street conditions in Libya: where petrol, diesel, cooking gas and bank cash are available, electricity and water outages, mobile network, traffic, road closures and flooded roads. ## Use it from an AI assistant (MCP)

- Endpoint: https://tripolistreets.ly/mcp — public remote MCP server, Streamable HTTP, read-only, no login, no API key.
- Tools:
  - `list_cities` — the 56 covered cities and their ids.
  - `get_city_status` — one city's current availability of petrol, diesel, cooking gas, bank cash, electricity, water and mobile network, plus road and flood report counts.
  - `find_reports` — active reports by city or near a point (radius up to 10 km), filtered by category and state; at most 20 per call.
- Limits: 120 calls per minute per IP. Results come from a cache refreshed every 30 seconds.

## What the data is, and is not

- Community reports, not official information. They can be wrong or out of date; every result carries its age (minutes_ago) and number of confirmations.
- Only active reports and counts. Never: who reported, phone numbers, accounts, comments, photos or the reports' own text.
- Location precision: about 100 m for stations, banks and roads; about 1 km (neighbourhood) for electricity, water and network.
- Not included: security incidents and clashes, requests for help, local news.
